Default Wells fargo wants to see bank statements for

loan modification, shopping on statement? They said they wanted to see how i pay for the mortgage, And only thing i have is my bank statements showing the automatic deductionWe are trying to get a permanent modification since having financial hardship.Im worried about the transaction showing, shopping, and going out to eat and whatnot, will that matter??i dont have a problem with shopping but i live in MN , sorry if I need to buy winter clothes and blankets. And we have been paying the reduced mortgage, we dont have a problem managing money, We paid our mortgage, so whenever we can afford we go get a dinner at perkins, SORRY!Thanks FreekyGeeky. We were on a 6month payment plan because we qualified for financial hardship due to co owner losing his job. NOW we are back on our feet. Thats why we can go out now and do things, unlike before when we did not go out.I just dont want the bank to be concerned for our shopping expenses when we r trying to get a permanent loan mod.I understand what you are all saying but on my behalf, I did not purchase this home, My now husband did with his brother. His brother is the one who lost his job and couldnt pay his half anymore. SO I stepped up and now me and my husband are trying to save the house together. So we dont have problems paying . So i dont see why we cant go out??

You should be able to get receipts showing the details of the automatic debit from the bank. But if your bank statements reflects lots of unnecessary expenditures, such as eating out and shopping for non-essential items, then I have to question whether you are really suffering a financial hardship or if you just have a spending problem.
