promising to give me a loan modification? I am now 2 months behind in payments and they tell me they can't do this and I have till Jan.10th to pay up or they will start to foreclose on my home.I am a senior with no savings and no where to go.I can't afford an attorney and will have to find a free lawyer to help.I am going to Hud for counseling or ask for loan.Is there anything else I can do.I fit all the criteria for the Obama plan but not getting the help.I think the bank would rather take my home at this point.

I would warn you to stay away from acorn you would be better off submitting yourself. These guys will delay the process and get you all tangled up in bureaucracy and lose you in the shuffle. You get what you pay for with these services
