about a year ago my husband switched jobs to make more money and his boss at the time was not happy that he was leaving and we were sued by him and incurred huge legal fees and have to pay out a settlement on a monthly basis to him. We were guided by our attorney to settle with him rather than continue to fight because he would continue to appeal which would keep the suit dragging through the courts and causing us to continue paying enormous legal fees. As a result we are paying out about 3000.00 dollars a month and with a second child going into college we are foregoing our mortgage payments to be able to pay school tuition and just our basic utilities and car payments. we are behind in our payments by about 4 months and are in the process of being approved for a forbearance agreement for the second time from our lender. We need help and we don't know where to go. Is there anything that can be done??
