Default what happens after foreclosure. can i go bankrupt or...

...do they garnish wages im lost and back at my parents.?

Have you even tried to work with the lender? They are bending over backwards right now. How about a short sale instead of a foreclosure then they can not come after you for the difference in what they sell the house for and what you owe.

All states have different laws re guarding foreclosure. This question would be worth spending a $100 on an attorney and see what your options are? Sometimes we look for an easy answer but we should seek counsel from one who specializes in this field. Good luck.

Default 1099 or Deficiency Judgement

The one that is very aware if they go after To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily. or 1099 would be the mortgage company forclosing. Your post count is 0 momentarily. does not go after deficiency now but with the law changing about 1099 that may be an option they pursue
