...foreclosure! I showed up & the doors were locked.? I was renting a room inside a building of a private business. They stopped paying the rent, took my money and didn't tell me that it was in foreclosure. Worse that that... it happened over Christmas, and all of my equipment was locked inside. Not only do I not have a place to work, but no equipment to work with. I have been on the phone with Bank of America, and no one will help me. My old landlord is a liar... he keeps saying, "don't worry, next week we'll get your stuff". Yeah... and he is happy with a new investor in his NEW businesss, in his NEW building; while I might lose my home because I'm out of work and no equipment during the slowest time of the year. HELP!!!!
