Default If i'm guardian for a person't assets, am...

...I liable for their debt in foreclosure? I became guardian over my grandmother' assets last year, when she was found to have alzheimer's. Her house needs alot more work than I realized (after starting to gut the kitchen for a remodel). Unfortunately, when the roof estimates started coming in, I realized there's no way she or I can pay for a new roof. The new roof and remodeled house won't benefit either of us, and we're not in a position to put out $13,000 to just make it livable for the bank to be satisfied in a sale. She owes as much as the house is worth, and I tried finding a way that I could just sign it over to the bank, so there would be no lengthy foreclosure process or continued maintenance or deterioration. They want me to sell it. Also, I found a couple of illegal additions on it, and I'm not sure if that can bring legal trouble. I'm sure she didnt check contractor licenses when she hired people for the additions. Obviously, she can't get in trouble for anything at this point, but i'm wondering if I can. I'm fine with the house going into foreclosure and the bank getting it that way. Since i'm responsible for her assets, can they come after me for any of the money, because I didn't attempt to sell it as they directed?I am guardian of the person and property, but my issue i regarding foreclosure laws in Florida. She cant afford the house and the bank wont accept a deed in lieu. Can the bank come to us for the debt, after they foreclose? Thank you.
