...auction? My husband and i had our own business for 10 years and lost it due to contractors failing to pay us monies owed. We both were put out of work and had to take other jobs at far less pay than before. Our lender refuses to lower the payments so we got behind on our mortgage and now our home is in foreclosure. We are not trying to skip out on paying, we just can't afford it!!It is days away from auction and we have run out of options. We have run through our savings just trying to survive. We tried to get a HUD loan but couldn't. We didn't qualify for bankruptcy and we can't come up the the total payoff amount to save it. What else is left for us to try for? I can't imagine my husband and 3 children homeless. (we live in NC)Please don't judge or leave hateful comments. You have no idea how difficult this is to deal with.
