Default About Foreclosure and housing?

My family has been renting a home for four years. My landlord no longer wants to pay the bank for us to keep it, so he put it up for foreclosure, being the asshole that he is. Does that mean that I will lose my home? It's a really nice place, and I would be devastated if we had to let it go. Can we rent it back from the bank? There's an auction going on right now, and if someone buys it, can we still rent it from them? Please and Thankyou. I love this home and I'm going to miss it. ):

Weather or not you can still rent the house will be up to whoever buys it. If you have the funds, try to make a bid on it yourself. If not, I'd start looking for a new place to live. I'm sorry this happened to you.
