Default My landlord is in foreclosure and...

...apparently the ownership has gone from one bank to another. Can you tell me? It was with US Bank and now it is with Citibank. Is there a phone number that deals with this specific situation?

Other than have you sign another lease (longer), usually the transfer of ownership is seamless and should not affect you.

A federal law enacted this calendar year offers renters a lot more safety from eviction if their landlord loses the home by means of foreclosure. The law has some fuzzy requirements, but should be a boon to renters who normally may have already been evicted with little or no notice.
