Default Foreclosure: State of Florida?

The lender began foreclosure proceedings in April 2008. Still reside in the home and at this writing, a hearing has not been set. After foreclosure proceedings began, decided it made no sense to continue to pay homeowner association dues. Recently a law firm representing the HOA sent me papers notifying me of their intent to foreclose because of the delinquent fees. What should I expect to happen as far as the HOA actions are concerned?I can provide you with any additional details you may need to answer my question. Thanks in advance
