Default What are my rights as a tenant of a home in...

...foreclosure? I live in Oregon and have been renting a home for almost a year. I signed a one year lease agreement. Shortly after moving in we received a notice that the home was in foreclosure. The landlord said we didn't need to worry because he was trying to do a loan modification but its been in foreclosure for more than 6 months now and the most recent deed inquiry I pulled shows an auction date of November 7th, 2011. Should I pay rent for that month without really knowing what's going on? The landlord still says not to worry but I think he is lying to me because one time we were a few days late on the rent he freaked out on us and served us a 3-day notice to pay or he would evict us because he said he has to "pay the mortgage". Now if that were true the home wouldn't be in foreclosure. I know for a fact he Hasn't made a payment in over a year. What should I do?
