Bank of America foreclosure and no money to move.?
The auction was last week. Noone bought it-the bank now owns the property. I am a single mom with no extra money to hire a mover to move my sofa, bed, etc. I don't know anyone with a truck either. I don't want to do an eviction-I'm ready to go and move in with my sister 15 miles away but Bank of America says they don't do cash for keys. Any ideas ? HELP!I work 60 hours a week to pay for my daughter and her childcare.I get no child support, and I don't want to hear answers like, "mow lawns." Bring on the haters, I just want some realistic answers on how to work with B of A. Thanks. Also, my thinking is, it's cheaper to pay someone to move than go through the eviction process, so wouldn't it be in their best interest to dump $500 rather than spend $5000 evicting me ?. Does anyone have any advice that's not "get a job" or "deal with your stuff being on the street" (very helpful, by the way). Thanks in advance for any insight into the reasoning behind the policy, which is unusual for both my state and the other banks in the area, and how I might approach it.
