I had a 2 year lease that expired in march I have been paying rent through august and just received a letter from the mortgage company that the home is going into foreclosure no payments have been made by the owner since february. The owner is telling me he will evict if I dont pay but he has no intention of paying his mortgage. Do I have any ground to stand on at this time, I have no lease and am worried that if I pay him the sheriff will be at the door soon and I will have no where to go. would appreciate any help. Thank you
