...motel/hotel goes into foreclosure? I am curently residing in a motel. I rent a 1bdr suite. I have lived here since March of this year. The landlady has already lost a buch of property due to bankruptcy and the one Im in is now in foreclosure. I used to be a Motgage Broker and I think its illegal to collect rent once it has been filed and served. The server served the notice of foreclosure on all who reside here today. She came and collected the law suit to give to her Atty and said I have to continue to pay rent. I'm not trying to get out of paying I'm just thinking shes breaking the law.
