I am looking at a house in Upstate NY and the bank wants 69k for the house but the thing is the house needs about $125k into it. Now before you as the house was built in 1880 but the previous owned added 2 huge new additions but they never finished the roof and it got A LOT of water damage but it has a lot of potential to be a gem... How much would you put a bid in for when it needs a new floor, walls, roof and sill which means lifting the house.. I offered $20k cause I can only afford a mortgage for $145k. What does everyone think?
