So I have idiots for parents who do not deserve to own a home. however, its been my home for 21+ years and here is the situation: They had trouble paying the mortgage, so the bank decided to enter foreclosure. The whole 9 yards I'm talking here. Sent the papers, published an auction date in the local newspaper, sheriff came to house to deliver notices etc. However, my parents have been working with some business that specializes in stopping foreclosure. Like a community development center. They got loads of paperwork together and are submitting it to the bank and the banks lawyers. My mom called today and the Comm. Devl. Center people say that have a good chance foreclosure will be stopped. (now they can prove they have 2 incomes vs. 1) (dad was injured, loss wages = couldn't pay mortgage, but now got disability 4 life.) Please help! This is a severely desperate outcry. Professional and valid answers needed. Are we safe? Does the bank REALLY want to foreclose? Are these standard procedures and/or scare tactics? Didn't Obama pass a law that stopped banks from foreclosing? HELP!!!!!!!! AND THANK YOU GOD BLESS!
