Default How to get my Rental deposit property...

...went for foreclosure? I am renting a home which recently got foreclosed by Home owners association, not the bank.I was informed after the property got foreclosed, now the owner of the house told me will send the rental security deposit check.But is there a way i get get my check, or it is not possible. everything is on the rental agreement lease.What are my options as a tenant, i am really going through hard time with my health.Thank you all for the helpful info.

Depending on the laws of your state, you are entitled to your deposit back in a specific frame of time (30 days normally). The courts typically favor the tenant in the case of receiving your deposit back, so take him to small claims of you don't get your check on the agreed upon time.
