Default Can a bank take personal things during

foreclosure?( In NY State)? I received a letter from county saying they are starting foreclosure.Haven't received any letter since. Don't know if the foreclosure has been completed or not.Went to house the other day and all my personal things are gone.I'm sure it was the bank because they did some work to the house (changed locks, boarded up windows, winterized the house etc)Do they have a right to take my personal things?(clothes, photo albums etc)
