they go to auction? The home we are looking at is listed at $69,900 and is a foreclosure. There is about $50,000-60,000 worth of maintenance to make the home livable. Despite the work to be done, we are in love and want to make this our home. However, the bank is owed a certain amount of money and will not accept a reasonable price for it with all that has to be done and that is why nobody has purchased the home. Now my question...How long will the bank list the home for sale before it goes to auction? Also, can just anyone go to the auction as long as they are a cash buyer?
