OK i need some help here.My home has been in a foreclosure state for 13 months.I have a loan modification and am just waiting on paper work.I just received a reinstatement calculation paper stating that i need to pay net total do of all my missed payments or the total amount of the loan is do.Now i think this is a standard letter they send because my loan is 12 months over due and are not aware that i have a loan modification.Last time i spoke with my loan modifier he said all well and not to worry if the loan goes over 12 month.Got paperwork Saturday and no way to get hold of them to ask whats going on. The loan reinstatement is good through 11/1/10 any thoughts on this Thanks

I have always wanted to say this, but THANKS A LOT for driving all of our houses down in value and not paying your mortgage. WHY do you have internet and a foreclosure?? Why would you not get rid of EVERY thing except for food, bed, and mortgage?Laura- EVERY little bit adds up. I don't think its mean at all, i think its truthful. The truth hurts sometimes. People- TO avoid a foreclosure if you can not afford your morgage, downgrade your car (sell it and buy a beater) sell your fancy crap, disconnect your cell phone and internet and cable, stop going out, stock up on potatoes and buy meats in bulk, and stop buying soda, beer, chips, oreo cookies, etc etc.(if you qualify for food stamps and unemployment that helps as a short tearm thing until you get a new job) go to mc donalds and get a job, matter of fact, get as many shitty jobs as you can and check your ego at the door. Sell your designer jeans and purse and go to the local hardware store and get jeans and t shirts there. LOSING your house is the LAST resort!!! (other than eating)
