Default How long is foreclosure halt expected to last?
My husband and I were set to close on our new home yesterday. Already moved from our old apartment and had the utilities connected at the new house. Our appointment with the lawyer was at 4pm. At 12:30 we got a call from our realtor saying that PNC, the bank we were purchasing our home from, had halted foreclosures in 23 states, including ours. Now we can't close on our house and have our 11 month old daughter in limbo until we figure out what to do. Has anyone heard any word on how long this should take? Or does anyone have any additional information at all?
