a foreclosure/short sale home? and how long can all this take?We just recently found a house which is being sold as a short sale and fell in love with it. I did some investigating and found that it is due to be auctioned by the Master Commissioner some time in the next few months. I had my realtor go look at it and make an offer for me which is about 60% of the asking price and they said (my realtor) that this offer is a good place to start.There is some damage to the home but not a great deal and I am prepared to deal with, but what should I be aware of in this type of deal? How long can this take?
