Bank of america is foreclosing on my home and i didn't even know about it. I never received a collection call or late notice or anything. They said they have been calling me (I have never received a call) and sent me big packet of papers to sign about loan modification which i never received. They now say the time for modification is past and that I either pay it all or that foreclosure will go forward. Its 3000.00 dollars I have 2000.00 that they won't take unless its in full plus they are adding on fees for lawyers and filing costs, but didn't know how much this was yet. I got my first call on monday and this is how i found out about all of this. I'm supposedly 4 month behind and they could only tell me 2 months of were i was late and its from over 2 years ago. Does this make sense. I can't afford a lawyer and don't have anyone to borrow money from. Any advice on what I should do?
