Default How can one find out if an apartment complex is going

into foreclosure? My friend lives in an apartment complex that offers some Section 8 apartments. In the last few years the amount of tenants dwindled. The complex is really beginning to appear unkempt and run-down.The management no longer has the grass mowed (it is all covered in long weeds). The management has not painted the complex since the year 2005, and now all the paint is peeling off of the buildings. The management does not replace damaged light fixtures or damaged signs. This has led my friend to believe that the owners / managers of the complex are broke and that the complex is secretly entering into foreclosure and the tenants have not been informed.Does that sound like a possibility? How would he find out if his complex is in financial dire straights?
