My home foreclosed and my lodger and I share the single family home. Once the house sold to a third party we were served with a 3 day notice. The lodger has a year lease and has lived here for over a year. We just renewed the lease in February of 2010. Does the new owner have to abide by the lease or does the tenant get 90 days? This is California.
