Default My house is headed for foreclosure but I

have tenants? Basically I have been renting my house out to tenants but never told my mortgage company that I wasnt the primary resident. My tenants ran into some financial trouble a while back and its been a long start to the year for them. Therefore the mortgage hasnt been getting paid. The upside is that my mortgage company is willing to work with me and sent me a hardship form requesting my financial info etc etc. What Im wondering is that should I let them know that I am renting out the property ? Does that help me or hurt me ? Also what do I put down on the financial sheet as they are requesting w-2's and that will show that I have been working steady. I would like to just try and get it modified but am afraid of what I should put on the sheet and the fact that I have tenants. I really dont want to lose the home...
