Default I am losing my home to foreclosure and it has...

...a pool. I plan on moving out this weekend even though the Deed? of Trust sale will not be held until the end of April. I am concerned about what to do with the pool. Should I empty it, or leave it as is? I have asked my mortgage company, but they are useless and can't tell me what I should do. I am concerned about the environmental effect a non-treated pool will cause and the potential threat to animals or people should they somehow drowned, Then again, I have talked to some people who have said that if I drain the pool, I will ruin it and could be held liable for destruction of property. Does anyone out there no what to do? BTW- I have called the city and the police department and no one could really give me an answer there either,

I know that in the UK when the property is reposessed the receivers come in and secure the property turning off gas, water and electricity supplies and ensuring everything is ok. Keep everything as you would normally until the reposession day, then it's down to them what they do.
