Default foreclosure on a commercial building?

besides my home, i own only one piece of property and that is a metal builsing wortha oubt 600K. with the recession, I had to close my business that was in the building and I have just missed my first payment on the building. I am trying to sell it and hopefully it will sell before the bank actually forecloses which I understand takes about six months. I have a bout 100K equity in the building. does anyone know for certain what happens to the the equity in the building? do I get any of that? if they sell it for more than I owe anfter repossesing it, then will they still come after me for money? do I need to declare bankruptcy? I am not sure what to do.

You need to contact the bank and tell them what is going on. Ask for a delay in payments pending the sale.
