Homeowner is breaking lease on our condo we...
...rent to sell it due to foreclosure... Court or just move? We are renting a condo and we are 6 months into our lease. (in Las Vegas, NV if it matters) The homeowner is just recently in default and going through foreclosure. Our rental agency reduced our rent and said we have at least 3 months to find a place before the bank owns the condo. Now to homeowner wants to put a lock box on the door and start showing the house to try to sell it, thus breaking our 12 month lease. Is it worth it to take him to court for damages or should we just move at the end of this month and forget about it?EDIT ADDITION: He is attempting to sell it and kick us out asap. So he is breaking the lease. Basically he wants to come in and out as he pleases to try to sell the condo.
