The bank sent ME certified letter when property is his..? My ex husband was awarded a rental property in our divorce over 5 years ago. I signed a bank paper to transfer the loan into his name only. I've received a certified letter from the bank stating the property is going into foreclosure, and my name is still on the loan.He gave me a couple songs and dances (bank error, etc)....he told me not to worry about it, that he would take care of everything.My credit score is currently over 800. I want to make sure my credit is not affected by this error. What should I do?
