Can a bank take action against my house, bought before...
...my marriage, due to foreclosure against my wife house? My wife bought a house with her brother 4 years ago, her brother lives there, we married 2 years ago. That house is in foreclosure process by the bank now, and I am concerned the bank could take legal action against my house purchased before the marriage. I put her in my house title with a "quitclaim deed" when we married, but I removed her again some moths ago when her foreclosure problem started. The current price of her house is less than half of the mortgage loan and the bank may want to get the difference also paid after the foreclosure.
