Default Who pays condo fee during foreclosure waiting time?

Owner filed bankruptcy and abandoned the condo.? The owner, got chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge; and moved out of the condo before filing. The locks were replaced by new ones. Substitute Trustee was assigned by Court. The foreclosure was delayed by more than a year to be effected. The home owner association-HOA sued the owner to pay a year long sum of condo fee. HOA claims that unless a new buyer buys the condo and property conveyance effected, the existing owner shall pay whatever delay the foreclosure process takes. But the owner has been denied access and didn't live in the property for more than a year; and didn't reaffirm to continue living in the condo after the bankruptcy.

It will be paid in arrears when the condo is sold. It's called a Lien. The condo association may have to file that...They should get it from the proceeds of the sale. They should know how to do that.
