Our house is going into foreclosure.Back taxes are...
...owed.Can the mortg.co.take all our property? We received a letter from our mortgage lender stating that if we don't pay the back taxes on this home and they have to, they will garnish our pay checks and come after us for all personal property that we have to reimberse them for the taxes. Can they legally do this? If we could afford to pay them we would have! We live in PA.

Yes they can. They have said all personal property? That means cars, furniture, appliances, jewelry...in effect every thing you own, just to pay back taxes on the home. Plus they are foreclosing on your home. You are in really deep chit.

In short, Yes they can.. Come up with the back taxes or you will lose your home over that..
