...knowingly rent a in foreclosure? We just moved in our rental house and we paid a deposit and first months rent; recently a letter was posted on the door saying the home is in foreclosure; i spoke with the landlord about it and she said no the house was not in foreclosure; and then she called back to say the house is in foreclosure; i need to know what are right our as tenants i mean is this legal; do we still owe rent; is this considered rent skimming;and should i get a lawyer. please help me
