...the home it is going into foreclosure? My friend just moved out of this home (thank god) but still had access to the house to finish getting their belonging, they went over to the house and there was a foreclosure notice on the door and the locks were changed. granted they had moved and found another house to rent before the notice was there. But the question I have is, is it legal for the landlord to keep this information from them? does he have to tell the renters that it was going into foreclosure? Is there a way that they could sue him for the last so many months that they have been paying for when in the end the landlord wasn't even paying the mortgage? How does this work? and also he wont return any calls they had made to him and they are waiting for a security deposit back since they had moved are they able to still get that back now that it is in foreclosure?
