My family lives in a home where the mortgage was in my grandmothers name, however my name as well as hers is on the deed. We had fallen behind on payments and were in foreclosure, they sent us a loan modification but before it could be finished... my grandmother passed away. They have now set a an auction date for next week. I live in the home with my 4 children... my question is this, does the mortgage go into my name automatically since my name is on the deed? Once they Auction goes off... how long do I have to leave my home?I live in the state of Massachusetts.Thanks!
