Default Why would the govt. take $100 thousand off a home
when selling it in foreclosure but not forgive the family..? a total of $48 thousand when they have fallen on hard times and couldn't pay their mortgage ? I know this happening to a family...and find it odd that the govt.. will lower the price of a home but won't forgive a debt which is half and let a family stay in their home .

Letting a family who can't pay their mortgage stay in it doesn't make anyone any money.
