Foreclosure.? My parents fell behind financially. My Dad lost his job almost 2 years ago and unemployment has run out. Hes recently been disabled as well. However they cannot find a doctor to declare him and everywhere they look for help, it is slow to come.They are months behind in all their payments for everything, including mortgage. They defaulted on their mortgage payment a few times and the montly payment skyrockted. They have been able to dodge having the utilities turned off, but probably for not much longer.My question is if there is anywhere they can turn to help. I have checked and there is no "one stop" solution. They problems are layered and only got compounded with time. I dont want them to lose their house and everywhere they have turned to help either hasnt worked or its too slow. I just need some help trying to get them some help. It appears the systems put into place to help with this sort of thing do not work or work to slowly. She cannot even get my youngers siblings Social cards because she does not have 3 forms of ID for them. Even though the website states, since she is their mother, she only needs a birth certificate. Small things like that halt progress when she applies for help. Her doctor also drags her feet on everything!So please any points to help or advice would be greatly appreciated. They live in Will County in Illinois.
