...foreclosure? I have been having a hard time paying my mortgage just recently. My lender (HSBC) had us on a hard ship program for 6 months. This is where they lower you interest rate and payment. The 6 months is over and my payment went back up! My husbands job is in the auto industry and his company is laying him off for 3 weeks in April and all of May and in July as well. With the inconsistent income we are desperatly behind. (As he just got back from being layed off for 8 weeks from Dec. ) Anyways mort. co. said to try for a hardship again. (That is the only option they offer by the way). Well, since his last pay stub is decent and he isn't layed off yet they denied us! They told us to call our local HUD office for help. Has anyone ever done this and did they get any results? I want to try to keep my home....
