foreclosure than were a the inauguration? When they mention the number of people unemployed or in foreclosure it's hard to imagine but looking at all those people in one area really got me thinking how many lives are really effected by the economy. Many more than we actually saw in that one spot. I wonder if the greedy people really knew the enormity of how many people their greed was effecting?

Greed is not the problem... The problem is much larger than this.. If you want to think about it...The real problem is the same issue we dealt with during the 1970's, which is how do post industrial nations grow??? Since 1980, we grew the economy by leveraging debt. So you know, it is called an "Asset Based Economy". This has now come to an end, however, so until we figure out what to do next, we will continue to decline... Also, $1T of stimulus means nothing when over $10T more assets are expected to be wiped out..Good Luck and I Hope this Helps your thinking on the subject...

I am not sure who you are referring to when you say "I wonder if the greedy people really knew the enormity of how many people their greed was effecting?" Who are the greedy people? The ALL American Greed is why all these people are in this situation. Every person who foreclosed on a home should look in the mirror before they start to blame anyone else. They wanted the bigger house, they wanted the status of living somewhere that they knew they couldn't afford. Don't put all the blame on the gov't and the lenders. The Buyer is where the GREED started. People who chose to live above their means are now paying for it. Unfortunately for those who understood what they could actually afford, we are left to pick up the pieces and make it all better for the over extenders.
