...will be garnished due to my foreclosure? Will they? Due to receiving this letter, I called the IRS at 800-304-3107 and was told that the USDA has put in a request. Will they actually take my refund? How can I stop this from happening?

O yes they can and they will if they are a federally funded organization than you cannot do anything about it unless you set up a payment plan with them, that might work. good luck

If you got a letter stating that they were going to garnish your taxes, then if I was a betting man I would bet that your taxes are going to be garnished.
