Trying to help a friend with her foreclosure?
I have a good friend of mine whos house is being foreclosed on. I was wondering if there are any places in Raleigh NC that can help?What is the best way to help someone going through this kind of thing? Best resources?

Probably best to find a Realtor in the local area that is trained in handling short sales and foreclosures.This is assuming your friend is otherwise insolvent, has had a hardship and doesn't want to stay in the house. If they want to stay in the house they should consider reorganization bankruptcy and/or a workout agreement with the current lender. Most states also have a help line where they offer free advice for foreclosure.
