I am purchasing a foreclosure in Florida. It is a home, and I have some questions about the closing charges. They have listed: settlement fee $345.00, Title search $228.00, Storage fees $50.00, Courier fee $60.00, Title insurance $1,150.00 (is this usually split with the bank and me??), Remote closing fees $200.00. Then they said something about Lien Letter fees...what are these and how much are they?? Can any of these charges be negotiated? Anything else I should know, anything someone with experience would know what to "watch our for." I don't want to get ripped off, but I know NOTHING about the foreclosure process, or the charges.
