Our current mortgage is at 11.5% interest and our payment was at 755 per month. We were doing fine with that. Then our taxes increased and our payment went up to 935 per month and we struggled and couldn't not afford that. Then we changed our tax info and got our payment down to 855, which we still struggled with. That is how we started getting behind.
My husband is in the building business and had his own business, but didn't have any work and we were struggling with only one income. He then took a job with a building company and got busy for a while, then last fall they became very slow and he was on unemployment. I was working full time and became pregnant and the company I was employed with did not have any paid maternity leave. So my husband was on unemployment and I was not receiving any pay. I ended up losing my job. My husband is currently back to work full time, very busy working 40 or more hrs per week and doing really good. I am currently looking for a new job now that the baby is 3 months old. We are currently getting back on track with him working so much. We would be interested in keeping our home, if possible or also be interested in selling if we can get the right amount of cash out. We are in desperate need of help!!
