It depends on the state and are if you looking as a person being foreclosed on or buying. There are a number of websites that offer the information for a fee. If you are looking for a short sale (someone desperate to sell prior to foreclosure) or an REO (homes lost to foreclosure). I would contact some real estate agents in the area that you wish to purchase a home. Many go unpublished or because of red tape publishing may be delayed.
