to know if there is any way that i can purchase a home? I am in the foreclosure process and I have no choice but to quick sale. With the money I receive I plan to pay off the loan and put a deposit on another home. First, if you are selling the house and paying off the loan, then there is no foreclosure. If the matter is settled before the foreclosure sale completes, then the home was never taken from you.Consider renting for a while.

Sorry, but you will probably have to rent. After the bailout banks are making it more and more difficult to get loans. Most likely until your credit improves you will not be able to get approved for a new mortgage. It may take a few years. The good thing is that people are having a lot of trouble selling houses right now so they are being forced to rent them out. You should be able to find something to rent pretty easily. Good luck with the short sale and hopefully you can get the house sold be fore it is foreclosed on.

If you are in foreclosure it will be on your credit report listed as so, even if you’re doing a short sell. The lending guidelines state 3 years for foreclosure. That is FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. The best thing is to look for a lease purchase/owner financing or rent if not it will be three years.
