Default Foreclosure, Bankruptcy or both?
Unfortunately I'm 3 months behind on a condo that i paid 207K for 2 1/2 years ago and is now selling for 70K! I can't afford it but I heard scary things about short sale.(IRS & Mortgage Co. coming after you in future) I've also heard that if I foreclose I should declare bankruptcy to cover myself.(credit is obviously already horrible so take that out of consideration) Go to a real estate attorney? Any help woukld be appreciated during this tough time. Thank you.
