I'd have to say way to many, I live in a place that many homes are empty and mine could be next, Its sad to see your friends packing up and moving because some mortgage company sold them a loan they couldn't afford but told them they could, or there job in construction has them sitting at home due to a lack of work due to the housing market,so they cant make there payments and they sit at home and hope and pray that there not next, so many lives have been torn apart by this problem, but there is hope for the ones that have held on, since the banks have really felt the sting of all these foreclosers they are now trying to keep people in there homes, by lowering what the people owe and giving much better interest rates with fixed loans, some of us might still be able to save our american dream.
