If my home is in foreclosure, do I still own
it? I was informed in March, 2008 that the foreclosure process had started. I moved out of the house that month and it has been vacant ever since. I went over and mowed the lawn for awhile, but it became too painful for me to go over there even though it was embarrassed that my neighbors had to look at it. Now, the Town has informed that if I don't take care of my jungle they will do at the Town's expense? Am I still responsible for that yard?
