Can I check to see if a house I want to
rent is in foreclosure? I want to rent a house in Palm Beach County, FL. Is there any way for me to check and see if it is in foreclosure or about to go into foreclosure? I just want to save myself some hassle if I could.

i'm not sure about for florida.. but here in tx there are a few websites that give that information, but i believe you have to be a realtor to login and access the records. do you have any realtor friends/family members that may be able to look for you? or you could maybe call a real estate office to ask them. foreclosures are public information but if it hasn't gone into foreclosure yet, it may not be posted. good luck!
